Abstract

On the 23rd of March, 2001, the doctoral thesis “Las actividades en los manuales de pronunciación de inglés como lengua extranjera” was read at the department of Didàctica de la Llengua i la Literatura of the University of Barcelona. By means of this article, the author now intends to share the most relevant aspects of his thesis with a wider audience than those who attended its reading or have since had access to the printed copies available in the department.
