Despite translation and interpretation services have lately experienced a great step forward in the health sector (mainly due to the development of technological tools), there are still many patients who do not properly understand the treatment indicated by the doctor because they do not speak the country’s language.
The aim of this work is to know at first hand the experiences of patients, doctors and in-site interpreters who work in the health environment, as well as to determine the current situation and the potential areas of improvement. The data presented here are based on an empirical study in which anonymous questionnaires were used.
