Resum

Murals com a portadors de memòria. Anàlisi dels significats que se’ls donen i de les actituds dels seus creadors El fenomen de les pintures murals s’ha anat desenvolupant a l’espai públic des de la Revolució Mexicana. Els murals s’utilitzen, entre altres finalitats, per capturar records.
A més, són una de les formes més populars de representació del passat a l’espai públic, comunament anomenats portadors de memòria. En la discussió de la recerca que s’està duent a terme, es posaran de manifest les oportunitats associades a la formació de consciència històrica i actituds envers el passat de la societat a través de murals commemoratius.

La recerca es va dur a terme de juliol a novembre de 2020. Es va basar en l’anàlisi dels materials existents: fotografies de murals commemoratius (elements significatius i marcats) i entrevistes amb agents de memòria semiestructurada. La primera etapa de la investigació descrita es va centrar en els autors de murals commemoratius.

L’objectiu de la recerca ha estat determinar el significat i els valors que els creadors de murals han donat en general i en particular als murals commemoratius realitzats per ells mateixos. La recerca va permetre, entre d’altres, respondre preguntes sobre el camí artístic dels creadors (entorn del graffiti), quins factors van influir en el procés d’elaboració del mural (història familiar, passat propi, finances, implicació social), visió del món i valors del creadors declarats (patriotisme) i actitud davant la política de la memòria.

PhD candidate at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education in Warsaw.
Her research interests are related to artistic activities in public space. Analyses the social functioning of street art, memory carriers and social movements.
