"La Nau", a proposal to navigate through the media

This paper describes an educational experience known as La Nau (the vessel), developed with the curriculum contents of the Visual Arts course. A blended learning methodology was used, relating face-to-face with network pedagogical activities, supported at a Moodle platform. We have specially worked with the Photography and Knowledge program, which has been the source of this experience, based on three objectives: - Responsible use of new technologies and critical analysis of the media. - The self-knowledge and knowledge of others through the photographical portrait and self portrait. - Social and cultural integration of newcomers. This research was the result of the reflection about the role that this Visual Arts course plays within the new social contexts.References
