Abstract

In accordance with the current socioeconomical situation we have decided to work crosscurricularly the value of Resilience at our school. We need to educate the new generations in the way they can find new challenges and to respond to difficult situations with courage as well as creativity and in a positive way. We wanted to work this value in an everyday setting, close to them so as our students can face up to many current and difficult situations positively, with courage, and in a resilient way. We have established a project that has come across the Educational Community -students of all ages, families and educators- from an vivential perspective and has given priority to exemplarity and to socio-affective education: Both strategies are essential in the education of values. All of us have grown up as individuals and as members of a community and this is a process that has just begun.
