Abstract

The methodology and the contents used in the elaboration of a set of 1700 multimedia interactive activities for the education of the Catalan pronunciation are presented. The activities have been elaborated for the immigrant students of Compulsory Secondary Education of Catalonia. The sequence of activities introduces the students in the different vocalic and consonantal articulations with different articulatory graphs and audio support, in such a way that the procedure of learning is simple and motivating for the students. Also specific sections to intonation and phonetic accentuation are included. The activities can be activated to the web site of the Department of Education http://www.xtec.net/~jpi/index.htm
