Abstract

The article reflects on the current situation of pronunciation teaching in the foreign language classroom, with special attention on the area of Spanish for foreigners. It includes an exhaustive theoretical and practical revision of the literature and previous studies performed in this field of Teaching. This article is part of the PhD Dissertation entitled “Creencias de los profesores de E/LE sobre la enseñanza/aprendizaje de la pronunciación”, presented on February 2008 at the Universitat de Barcelona.
