As in the case of many other countries, Jules Verne has been a successful author in Spain, until the point of being considered by his contemporaries like the more famous French writer. Our analysis aims to observe the echo that had his work Michael Strogoff especially in the stage: the geographical content, the abundance of fragments embodied by multitudes of characters suppose important challenges for the adapters whose solutions often show their own ideologies.
