Monograph PHONICA 2025: Phonetics applied to the teaching of Spanish

Phonetics in the foreign language classroom poses a significant challenge for researchers, teachers, students, and material creators alike. It is an ongoing task to overcome psychological barriers, enhance teaching methodologies, utilise modern technological advancements, and foster a stronger connection between phonetic theory and classroom implementation. There is still a long road ahead to make substantial progress in this field. Therefore, the objective of this volume is to make valuable contributions towards further advancing the application of phonetics in Spanish language instruction.

Scientific papers that meet the requirements of a scientific publication and present research results, an innovative didactic, technical or clinical experience, or a well-founded theoretical proposal are accepted, among others. Manuscripts have to follow the journal’s Author guidelines:
