Author Biography

José Luis Oyón, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya

És catedràtic d’Urbanisme a la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Ha dedicat quasi tota la seva activitat científica a la història urbana. Entre els seus llibres cal destacar Colonización agraria en España, 1855-1973 (1986), Atlas histórico de las ciudades europeas (2 vols. 1994, 1996). En els darrers quinze anys ha dedicat la seva atenció a la Barcelona obrera d’entreguerres: Vida obrera en la Barcelona de entreguerras, 1918-1936 (1998); Barcelona 1930, un atlas social (2001); El cinturón rojinegro (2005) i La quiebra de la ciudad popular. Espacio urbano, inmigración y anarquismo en la Barcelona de entreguerras, 1914-1936 (2008).
