Abstract

This paper presents the work of the coordination team of the Practium of the UB-degree in Pedagogy. This team has organized the subjects dealing with the professional practice of a pedagogue. There are three subjects: “Professionalització i sortides laborals” (Professionalization and professional insertion), “Pràctiques d’iniciació professional” (Professional start-up practice) and “Pràctiques externes” (Practice in enterprises). The first one deals with the professional role of a pedagogue and the fields where he/she works, for first graders. The second one, for third graders, consists of classroom practice with simulated cases.  And, finally, the third, in the fourth grade, consists of the student integrating in an enterprise for a period of time followed by a critical reflection on the experience. We defined the professional profile of the pedagogue taking into account the legal frame as well as the mind frame that allows us to better know the professional environment of the profession in the XXIst century.
