In this paper we study the treatment of academic problems related to curricular heterogeneity in large groups. This heterogeneity is characterized by the presence of students from different origins and previous training, including graduate studies in other countries. In the treatment of this problem has been used a methodology that combines lectures with specific guidance from the teacher and self-learning materials with different levels of depth, with moodle support. In some cases, specific tutorial reinforcement has been carried out. This case is based on in-depth interviews with students of different groups and a survey about habits of study, use and appreciation of the proposed learning tools. Furthermore, all of that has been contrasted with the academic results obtained by students. The analysis of the results shows a remarkable effectiveness of the methodology used in the acquisition of knowledge in the different groups of origin of the students. Furthermore, this methodology has also proved useful as an instrument of homogenization and / or leveling in groups with high diversity.Downloads
