In this article appear analyzed how many secondary schools in a Spanish city are incorporating mindfulness into their classrooms and the training of the instructors of these schools. 27 high schools were analyzed, of which only two had instructors in mindfulness. Quantitative methodology was used through surveys to the centers and qualitative through interviews with the instructors. The results show that there are a minority of schools that incorporate mindfulness although their instructors have good training in any case. It is concluded that mindfulness is still in an initial phase of expansion in the educational field.
